Karate Classes
GoJu means “hard-soft.” While most karate styles teach the use of hard blocks and hard strikes, GoJu teaches the hard style but also emphasizes the “soft” style. It is a style that is compatible for both men and women, young and old. Karate teaches to develop ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally, allowing us to better deal with everyday life as well as any crisis situations that may arise. At Austino's Karate, our certified Black Belt instructors will teach you in a step-by-step method that allows everyone to learn.

Equipment & Supplies
All equipment and supplies needed should be purchased through Four Seasons Austino’s Karate. Ranking System Belt advancement testing is done quarterly for the KYU ranks and twice per year for the DAN ranks. All students must demonstrate a proficiency of the required material. Testing is based on material taught in class and outlined in the student manual. Testing is done on a quarterly basis. All tests are conducted either on a Saturday and/or Sunday. The school is closed to the public on testing days. Students will be notified in class when they are nearing a test and if they are ready. If you participate in regularly scheduled classes, you can plan on testing every three months (every six months for advanced belt levels).
