Membership Cancellation Request
NOTICE
Please read all information contained in this notice. Failure to do so may cause a delay in processing your cancellation.
IMPORTANT: If your membership was purchased online, please log in and visit the “Payment Methods” page to ensure the default payment method on file is valid. Our cancellation policy requires payment of a nominal cancellation fee. If this charge is declined or refused by your card issuer, it will hold up the successful processing of your membership cancellation.
As detailed in our Terms and Conditions:
Our Friends and Family membership requires a 90-day cancellation notice and the payment of a $5 per-person cancellation fee, which will be charged to the payment method on file for your account. Within a few days of receipt of your request, our billing department will process this charge automatically. (If you currently pay by e-check, we will need to contact you to pay the cancellation fee using a card.) By proceeding with the online cancellation option, you agree to allow us to process this charge. If, while trying to process your gym membership cancellation request, we encounter a problem related to payment of the cancellation fee, we will be unable to process your cancellation until the situation is resolved. If this happens, you will receive an email describing the issue.
Per the membership agreement, after your cancellation fee is paid, you will be billed for two additional months on your regular payment schedule.
If you are alone on your membership, please list your name in the “Message” area. If you have other people on your membership, please list all members you wish to cancel in the “Message” area. If you are only canceling add-ons, and keeping your membership, do not list yourself.
Once your cancellation request is reviewed, and successful payment of the cancellation fee is verified, you will receive a confirmation email. This process may take a few days. Please make sure your email address is up to date. If necessary, log in to your account page to make any changes.
